The responsibility of governing the church belongs to the session, which is comprised of the minister in charge and the elders elected by the congregation. The session at Virtue consists of five elders. Each elder is elected to serve a three year term. Pastor Rev. Mark Allison Current Elders Doug Boles (serving through 2009) V.W. Deacons lead the church in its caring ministry to those in need. In addition, this board prepares a yearly budget for the church and submits it to the session for approval. There are three deacons at Virtue. Each deacon is elected to serve a three year term. Leadership for church administration, music ministry, and Christian education are overseen by a team of dedicated and extremely talented part-time and volunteer staff positions.
