Pickin’ With The Lord

Pickin’ with the Lord is a special event held in the Virtue Cumberland Presbyterian Gym every second Tuesday night. It is a great time for those interested in good food, good fellowship, and great southern gospel music.

 

The evening begins at 6:00pm with a meal provided by one of Virtue’s Circles, fellowships, or committees. There is no charge for the meals, but any donations will go to support the mission projects of the groups.

 

The Pickin’ begins at 7:00pm with a hymn sing. A choir, made up of volunteers from the crowd helps lead a few songs to get the spirit moving. Then we hear from special guest musicians. The evening ends with music from Crossroads, a band led by Larry Maples, member of Virtue and coordinator of Pickin’ with the Lord.

 

If you have never been to a good old fashioned gospel sing, come join us! The music is amazing and the Spirit moves every time!
